Bio:
Tony began his City career in 1984 as a Programmer/Analyst in the
Information Technology Division of the Administrative Services Department.
From 1984 and 1990 he was a member of the Confidential
Unit and was not allowed to join SRCEA. The programmers were later moved
to the Professional Unit and he became an SRCEA member in 1990.
Tony served five years as the Unit 6 Professional Representative and is
currently serving his Third term as President. During that time he
has served on many committees such as Strategic Planning, Internal
Communications, Domestic Partners sub-committee, the Labor
Coalition Committee for the 3 @ 60 retirement improvement, the
Layoff Procedures Committee, the Financial Stabilization
sub-committee and the Healthcare Coalition. He is on the
contract negotiation team and has participated in negotiating
four contracts.
Duties: The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association,
appoints committees, and sign all warrants drawn by the Treasurer
